Awareness, understanding and practice help reduce accidents while keeping adolescents and young adults safe in the home, community and work environment. Acclaimed author Tom Kinney and well-known artist Gabe Eltaeb, examine safety issues in a variety of settings. Using colorfully animated illustrations and straight forward text, students learn to be alert to potential dangers and to take the necessary precautions to keep themselves safe. Each of the 26 topics safety topics covered includes an activity page with vocabulary words from the stories and multiple choice comprehension questions.
